Our beeswax candles are poured by hand and the wax is obtained as a by-product of the honey processing at MI Honey and has a slight natural honey aroma only. Most beeswax results from melting the capping and the recycled comb. This is the reason why every batch of beeswax is different in colour and scent. Beeswax has the highest melting point of any wax meaning the candles burn for longer than paraffin. They are the tidier candle in that they don't release any soot and they tend to drip less. Burning beeswax produces negative ions that don't cover up odours but clean your air of odours, pollens, smoke, dust, dust mites, and other allergens and hazards.
