How We Harvest Our Honey

Our honey is produced using traditional and simple methods that respect the work of the bees and preserve the natural qualities of the honey.

We manually uncap the honeycomb and extract the honey using an electric spinner. The honey is then passed through a coarse sieve to remove pieces of wax and allowed to rest for 24–48 hours in settling tanks so that any remaining air bubbles and particles can naturally rise to the top. After this, it is jarred – with no pasteurisation, no fine filtration, no added sugar, and no adulteration.

Some people choose to describe honey produced in this way as RAW HONEY, referring to its minimal processing. While the term RAW HONEY  is not defined in UK law, it is commonly used by customers to describe honey like ours – honey that retains its natural enzymes, pollens, and full flavour, just as the bees made it.
